Nursery Practitioner

Flower Pots Day Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioner at Level 2 or 3 to join our team at our location. This full-time position provides a great opportunity for career advancement in childcare, with additional training and potential for promotion within our organization. Responsibilities: Manage a key group of children, providing attentive and nurturing care, and observing and documenting their development progress. Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development, fostering their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff, ensuring compliance with nursery policies and procedures. Develop positive and productive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and teamwork. Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Collaborate with the nursery team to contribute to the overall success and smooth operation of the nursery. Qualifications and Skills: Hold a Full and Relevant childcare qualification at Level 2 or 3. Possess a clean enhanced DBS check (Flower Pots Day Nursery will facilitate this process upon employment). Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and implement activities effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive and meaningful interactions with children, parents, and colleagues. Display enthusiasm, creativity, and adaptability in engaging children and promoting their learning and development.
