Job Title: Strategic Finance Senior Analyst Job Description: This role represents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, intellectually inquisitive person to join the Strategic Finance team within Group FP&A, playing a key role in supporting Strategic Finance and wider Group FP&A activities. The Strategic Finance Senior Analyst will support the delivery of long-term financial planning, facilitate a seamless transition from planning into budgeting, conduct financial modelling across M&A and other areas, innovate processes, and produce ad hoc analysis and insights. They are responsible for delivering accurate, high-quality, and timely outputs, must have strong commercial acumen, and be able to perform complex analysis to drive data-driven decision-making. The role requires regular interaction with stakeholders of all levels, both within Finance and across the business, so the successful candidate will need to communicate confidently and with influence. The role will report to the Group Strategic Finance Manager with regular exposure to senior leaders including the Group Strategic Finance Director, VP Group FP&A, and other VP’s/EVPs across Commercial Finance. Key Responsibilities: Lead financial modelling and analysis to support the Group's long-term financial planning and target setting, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Deliver actionable insights to guide commercial decisions and improve processes within Commercial Finance. Contribute to high-profile projects, including the Group Financial 3-Year Plan and annual Goodwill/Impairment testing, while collaborating with external auditors and cross-functional teams. Support M&A activity by partnering with the Corporate Development team on pre-acquisition modelling and integration activity. Deliver accurate, timely outputs that reflect the Group’s strategy and priorities. What We Are Looking For: We’re seeking a commercially minded, analytical professional with a strong grasp of financial modelling and trend analysis, ideally with advanced Excel skills. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, have experience delivering insights to drive business strategy, and demonstrate confidence working with senior stakeholders. An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential, along with experience using finance systems and innovation tools. Knowledge of SaaS metrics or tools such as Power Query / PowerBI is a bonus. You’ll bring a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for turning numbers into meaningful insights.
