About Us: Destiny Student specializes in offering summer tourist accommodation in student buildings across the UK and Ireland. We are recognized for maintaining high standards throughout our business operations. Our commitment revolves around providing value-for-money accommodation and friendly service to our customers. During the three months of summer, we transform purpose-built student accommodations into a pop-up hotel/hostel service, hosting tens of thousands of guests. Our dedication extends to providing onsite training and ensuring our staff gain valuable hands-on experience while also fostering an enjoyable work environment through regular social events and activities designed to strengthen the team. Fixed Term Contract Start Date: 19th May 2025 End Date: 7th September 2025

Responsibilities: Customer Service Excellence:

Upholding and enhancing our reputation for exceptional customer service by leading a team dedicated to meeting the needs of our diverse clientele. Staff Management:

Training and management of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Operations Oversight:

Supervising the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient daily operations. Reservation Management:

Managing reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient booking processes. Guest Relations:

Handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and actively seeking opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction. Budget Management:

Monitoring and managing the budget, optimizing operations, controlling costs, and ensuring all reservations are prepaid and paid in full. Stock Management:

Efficiently managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of inventory to meet the hostel's operational requirements. Building Setup & Breakdown Management:

Overseeing the setup and dismantling of the building for customer arrivals and departures. Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.

Requirements: Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead from the front and by example. Be able to communicate at a senior level with various parties – guests, Destiny Student team members, head office team, building maintenance teams, cleaning company team members, Destiny management, etc. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of hospitality software and booking systems. Right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide sponsorship.
