Our client are seeking an experienced Senior Inspection Team Lead in Glasgow to manage a small, high-performing inspection team. This role blends advanced CMM programming expertise with leadership responsibilities to deliver quality-driven results and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Program CMMs using Zeiss/PCDMIS, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct inspections, generate detailed reports, and resolve non-conformances.
Lead, mentor, and support the inspection team, fostering a collaborative culture.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with quality standards and production goals.
Drive process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in CMM programming and inspection techniques.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and manage teams.
Background in aerospace, defence, space, or automotive industries preferred.
High attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
