Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for recording, invoicing and maintaining the AR ledger as well as auditing revenues, reconciliation and cash transactions. Some of the key processes include but are not limited to: Preparation of month end journals and reconciliations Establishes, reviews and maintain all internal control systems within the hotel in every area of the operation, in accordance with Company procedures Reconciling guest and city ledger balances and balancing credit card totals daily Audit all M&E charges in addition to miscellaneous charges posted to PM and accounts and ensuring discrepancies are resolved in an efficient manner on a daily basis Sustains a working environment that supports the Company’s objective of consistently treating its employees in a fair and reasonable way Experience you will have: Gained work experience in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious hotel environment A passion for finance within a hospitality setting and will be motivated to change and grow Strong attention to detail along with proficient level of numerical, administrative and IT skills Strong knowledge of Opera and iScala is preferred Just some of the benefits you will enjoy as an Accounting Clerk: 12 complimentary hotel nights a year across Hyatt Hotels Discounted hotel stays across Hyatt not just for you but also your friends and family from the day you start!
