Assembly Technicians
to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Sheerwater, Woking, assembling CCTV positioning systems and advanced electronic drives and motors. We have a friendly dedicated Operations team who pride themselves on meeting our manufacturing targets on time and in full. Work-life balance is important to us, and so we have recently introduced a 4.5 day week. In your role you will be working 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am-1:30pm Friday. The contracts will start as soon as possible and run
initially on a 3 month basis.
Depending on order intake, we hope to be able to extend contracts for suitable candidates. Key Responsibilities for Assembly Technicians: The assembly, testing, inspection, and packaging of parts and sub-assemblies according to procedures and required quality standards. Working as part of an assembly team or individually, dependent on the task, to ensure that the assembly of products is consistently achieved in the target times or less while maintaining quality. Identify and alert the Production Supervisor or Production Cell Lead to opportunities to improve efficiency or reduce risk to quality. Ensure work is carried out to the required Health & Safety, COSHH & ESD standards and conforms to implemented ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems. Ensure high standards of workmanship to produce a high-quality product. Assist in other areas of Operations occasionally if required e.g. Stores. Please note
