We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Consultant to join our collaborative Intermediary Sales team. As a Sales Consultant you’ll have great exposure to our Global Intermediary network. You’ll manage your own portfolio of Intermediaries and Brokers, applying Account Management skills to build and maintain strong relationships in order to sell Global Healthcare insurance policies. With great exposure to the intermediary market, this is a perfect role for someone wanting to develop and progress into relationship management, Consultative sales and Intermediary management. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at our Tunbridge Wells office. Once you start there will be an office based induction period, and after that you’ll split your time between working from home and the office. This role brings good promotional opportunities and through our in house training, coaching and mentoring, you will be fully supported to help you achieve your full potential. What you’ll be doing: Developing and Managing Intermediary relationships to sell Individual business. Champion the needs and wants of your Intermediary Internally. Selling products designed for high net worth individuals. You'll mainly be selling over the phone as well as interaction by E-mail. There may also be the need to attend face to face meetings to develop and cement any relationships. You'll have targets to meet, so there will be a big focus around developing strong relationships with your Intermediaries and being able to influence and negotiate well; you will need to be a confident and effective communicator. What you’ll bring: Experience of working within Sales and/or Account Management is essential. Excellent relationship building and negotiating skills are vital. Due to the nature of the role, it would be ideal if you have sales experience, preferably from a Financial Services background, however it’s not essential. You’ll have great organisational skills and be able to communicate to individuals at all levels. Ability to negotiate and close deals will come as second nature to you. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be able to articulate detailed information at all levels. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
