As a Solar PV Manager, you will oversee all aspects of solar PV projects, from planning and installation to team management and client relations. You will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians and electricians, ensuring that solar systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will also be involved in troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of solar installers, electricians, and roofers to ensure efficient project delivery. Project Oversight:

Coordinate the installation of solar PV systems from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety standards. Client Interaction:

Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns during installation and post-installation. Quality Control:

Ensure that all installations meet company standards and relevant regulations, performing quality checks during the installation process. Training & Development:

Train and mentor team members on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills. Foster a culture of continuous learning. Safety Compliance:

Maintain a strong commitment to safety on all job sites, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and risks are minimized. Electrical & Roofing Expertise:

Utilize your experience as a qualified electrician to troubleshoot electrical issues and your roofing experience to ensure installations are done correctly on roofs of all types. Inventory Management:

Oversee the ordering and management of materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects. Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

Diagnose and resolve issues with solar PV systems, offering technical support for repairs and maintenance. Documentation & Reporting:

Ensure that accurate records of installations, inspections, and service reports are maintained. Prepare and submit progress reports to management. Qualifications: Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NICEIC). Additional qualifications or certifications in Solar PV installation are highly desirable. Any relevant roofing education & certification is highly desirable.
