About the Role: As a JavaScript Developer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining robust, scalable web solutions. This role requires expertise in Next.js, along with hands-on experience working with Contentful CMS and Shopify. You will work closely with our design and development teams to bring creative ideas to life and ensure seamless functionality for clients’ projects.
Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and optimise web applications using Next.js. Integrate and manage content using Contentful CMS, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions. Work on Shopify customisations and integrations to enhance eCommerce functionality. Collaborate with design and backend teams to develop seamless user experiences. Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, ensuring high performance and reliability. Follow best practices in code quality, security, and scalability.
Essential Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Next.js and modern JavaScript. Strong experience with Contentful CMS. Experience working with Shopify, including customisations and API integrations. Solid understanding of web development fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with version control systems like GIT. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills: Experience with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks. Familiarity with APIs, including REST and GraphQL. Knowledge of eCommerce best practices. Understanding of performance optimisation for web applications.
