Permanent contract | part-time 24 hours per week | £33,366 to £35,235 per annum pro rata (Grade H) | Office-base Dereham Occupational Therapist Assistant Practitioner We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children with additional needs and helping them to overcome challenges within their daily activities. In this role, you will be based in Dereham working within the West and Breckland Social Care team. You must be motivated to work directly with children and their families across home, school and respite settings. This role requires a creative approach which considers the child’s level of ability and their interests to work towards their occupational therapy goals. Your role will involve working actively with children and therefore has some moving and handling requirements. The office base is in Dereham; however, you will need to be prepared to travel anywhere within the Breckland and West Norfolk area and occasionally beyond this, depending on requirements. We are looking for an OTAP who is particularly happy to cover the West areas of Norfolk. There are training opportunities available to meet the specific requirements of the role. You will work closely with an Occupational Therapist, and regular supervision will be given.
