Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Practice Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the medical staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This position requires a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Duties Conduct patient assessments and provide nursing care in accordance with established protocols. Administer vaccinations, injections, and other treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Assist in the management of chronic diseases and promote health education among patients. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide support during minor surgical procedures and assist in patient recovery. Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Skills Strong knowledge of patient care practices and principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Empathy and compassion for patients, ensuring a supportive environment for their care. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare setting.
