Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and well-informed during their visits. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist in various procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and manage patient records efficiently. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by communicating effectively with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Organise and manage the dental surgery to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. Sterilise instruments and maintain infection control protocols in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote better dental health. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with patients and team members. Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records is advantageous. A caring attitude towards patient care is essential, alongside excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
