Shift Maintenance Engineer – Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

12hr days and night shift rotation – 6 days off plus holidays rotation Salary:
49k + Up to 5% Bonus Pension:
Up to 9% Holidays:
22 Days take when you want A state of the art, highly automated production facility in Wigan is seeking multiple highly motivated and experienced Shift Maintenance Engineers – Electrical or Mechanical bias. This role is pivotal in the ongoing plans for growth and maintaining the seamless operation of the FMCG production facility. The role emphasizes three key pillars: 1. Preventive maintenance / Minimising downtime 2. Continuous improvement – To enhance reliability and performance. 3. Project support In order to be successful: - Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical/ mechanical or equivalent) - Experience of working within a continuous process or production facility. - Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications - Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities. - Electrical and mechanical fault finding, maintenance and experience. - PLC Fault finding experience preferred (Electrical bias only) There are 2 Mechanical bias & 1 Electrical bias maintenance positions on offer.
