Partners / Executive Team Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
General Practitioner (GP)
to join our dedicated team at a well-established GP surgery in Crawley. The role offers the opportunity to work 6 sessions per week, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. As a GP, you will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions, while also contributing to the overall development and success of the practice. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care:
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients across all age groups, managing a broad range of health conditions. Deliver care in line with current clinical guidelines and best practices, ensuring a patient-centered approach at all times. Clinical Consultations:
Conduct patient consultations, including face-to-face, telephone, and video appointments. Use clinical knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, prescribing medications and treatment plans as appropriate. Medical Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with clinical and legal standards. Collaborative Working:
Work closely with the practice team, including nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure smooth delivery of care and efficient patient flow. Health Promotion and Preventative Care:
Promote healthy lifestyles and preventative care initiatives, including chronic disease management, immunizations, and screenings. Multidisciplinary Team Work:
Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and collaborate with external healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care for patients with complex medical needs. Quality Improvement:
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice, supporting clinical audits, reviews, and the development of patient care protocols. Professional Development:
Stay up to date with the latest medical advancements, clinical guidelines, and practice policies. Participate in training and development opportunities, both within the practice and externally. Patient Communication:
Provide clear, empathetic communication with patients, their families, and carers, ensuring that patients understand their conditions and treatment options. Skills & Qualifications: Fully qualified GP with registration with the
General Medical Council (GMC)
and
in good standing Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP)
(or equivalent) Strong clinical knowledge and experience in managing a wide variety of medical conditions Experience working within a primary care setting is preferred Proficiency in using
