Job Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Dental Nurse to work alongside us in our Specialist Dental Practice. The position is ideally full time; however, we will consider part-time flexibility for the right candidate/s. You will play a valuable role in providing exceptional levels of patient care and support while assisting our Clinicians in continuing to deliver high-quality treatments. This position requires good communication skills and strong organisational abilities. Salary from £31,500 per year pro rata, subject to negotiations based on qualifications and experience. Hours: Monday - Friday 8.15 am - 5 pm. No Evenings or Weekends. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Support our patients during their visit, ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Dealing with referral patients and their referring Dentist. Communicate effectively with patients, providing information regarding treatments and aftercare instructions. Training will be given to ensure you have a full understanding of the scope of treatments we provide. Follow Practice Policies and Procedures, including high standards of Infection Prevention Control. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with all team members. Assist with Reception Duties and other clerical duties as required. Knowledge of SOE would be beneficial. About You Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. GDC Registration. Pro-active team player, with a positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues. IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
