Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer and integrator of Warehouse Automation products looking to bring on a Project Engineer to work on their Robotics projects for clients across the UK. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer with background working in a Robotics. Responsibilities Overseeing all aspects of project engineering for the integration of Warehouse Robotics projects Creating detailed robotics designs to meet customer specifications using autoCAD software Carrying out site surveys, all related calculations and risk assessments to ensure that all designs align with technical and safety requirement standards Acting as the technical point of contact for customers Working closely with the sales, projects and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing all relevant documentation when required Attending sites nationally as and when required Requirements Our client is ideally looking for an individual with a strong Project Engineering background working within Warehouse Robotics. This isn’t essential however, they are also open to candidates who have mechanical design experience working within other types of automation with strong autoCAD skills. It is vital for the role that you hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar. In terms of location, you must be based within commutable distance on the office in Nottingham as there will be an expectation to work from the office. You must hold a full UK driver’s license as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country.
