Overview Elizabeth Eyre Limited is a small accountancy practice based in Malvern. We provide a wide range of accountancy services including tax returns, annual accounts, payroll, and bookkeeping for small businesses. Job Description We are seeking a qualified AAT or someone working towards ACCA (can be qualified by experience). Your main responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts and tax returns for all types of businesses. You will be required to use a variety of accountancy software including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and FreeAgent. Training will be provided in the use of software packages where required. Ability to use Microsoft, especially Excel, would be an advantage. A minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in an accountancy practice is preferred. Duties to Include: Prepare bookkeeping as required Payroll processing with various pay frequencies Completing VAT returns and processing income and expenditure for clients Preparation of accounting records for sole trader and limited company accounts and tax returns Competent use of accountancy and bookkeeping software Dealing with client queries by phone and email Liaison with HMRC, NEST, and Companies House Administration tasks as required Duties and Experience Experience essential, preferably in a practice environment; training can be given for the right candidate with a good accounting background. Good telephone skills and confidence to deal with client queries over the phone. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage own workload and work as part of a team Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting Strong IT skills Job Types:

£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year Expected hours:
