skilled Assistant Management Accountant

to join their team. Operating across 10 UK sites with an annual turnover of £80m, this family-owned business continues to grow through long-lasting client relationships and strategic acquisitions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an AAT-qualified professional, with aspirations to step up to a

Management Accountant

role within 12 months.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the month-end closing process alongside the sales & purchase ledger teams Assist in the production of monthly management accounts up to review by the Head of Finance Prepare monthly variance reports on income and expenditure Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist in the annual budgeting process for each site Provide technical support to the accounts team and site management Ensure year-end audit deliverables are met, including preparation of year-end schedules Produce ad hoc reports as requested by the Head of Finance, Senior Managers, and Directors What We're Looking For:

AAT-qualified, with at least 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role Currently studying towards the first level of CIMA/ACCA Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage 200 Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level of organisation A clear communicator with strong administrative skills and the ability to work well within a team Experience in transactional processing and an understanding of VAT and payroll legislation A proactive mindset, always looking to improve financial processes and reporting Benefits:
