The Health Care Assistant (HCA) is a crucial member of the healthcare team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, community care, and residential facilities. The HCA ensures a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for all patients while assisting with daily living activities and basic healthcare needs. Candidates must have at least 6 months working experience in NHS Hospitals and reside in the United Kingdom. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) and report any changes to nursing staff. Aid patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort. Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient areas, adhering to infection control protocols. Support the nursing team with basic medical procedures and documentation as directed. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide reassurance and information. Assist in the administration of medications under supervision as required. Participate in care planning and contribute to the evaluation of patient progress. Uphold patient confidentiality and dignity at all times. Job Types:
