Exciting opportunity for an Associate Dentist to join a family friendly, independently owned fully private dental practice, located in Kirkham, Lancashire. Our practice is committed to providing general dental services and orthodontic treatments, using clear aligners. We strive to create a warm and professional environment where patients receive outstanding care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our team and contribute to the success of our recently opened practice and provide private dental care to our patients. The practice has been newly renovated with onsite parking, spacious surgeries, all fitted with air conditioning. You will have access to an Itero scanner, CBCT scanner, Phosphor plate scanners and an experienced dental therapist on site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and have a compassionate approach towards patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional oral health care whilst ensuring a positive experience for our patients, leaving them delighted. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. A special interest in endodontics or implants would be an advantage. Utilise medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, including for modern minimally invasive restorative procedures. Qualifications: Fully qualified Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent) from an accredited institution. License/certification: GDC registration required. Full indemnity. DBS check.
