A rare opportunity to join a homecare package caring for a bright and articulate 21yr old. This role gives you an opportunity to develop or maintain complex clinical skills whilst working one-to-one with a young lady in her own home as well as the community, becoming part of a team of people looking after her and supporting her to have all the opportunities she deserves. This may also include going on holiday with the family or young lady, by prior arrangement. Tasks include: Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) Intravenous medications, infusions and fluids. Hickman (central) line care Dressings and wound care Stoma care (ileostomy) Mitrofanoff Catheter care PEG (gastrostomy) care Oxygen administration as required (not on LTOT, just as needed) Moving and Handling (including hoisting) Personal care Monitoring, observations as needed, measuring input and output and replacing as needed, and generally keeping an overview of the young lady and her needs. Holistic, person-centred approach Social support – going on outings, helping the young lady to see friends, spending quality time with family and enjoying activities away from home. Experience or Qualifications:
Registered nurses of all experiences, backgrounds, or specialisms welcome. We are happy to accept nurses across the spectrum, adult or children’s nurses, from various specialisms or general backgrounds, with and without community experience. The nurse must be TPN/ aseptic trained. We will provide training; however, experience of aseptic technique and TPN training is
