We’re looking for a DataCenter specialist who wants to expand their knowledge to Hybrid Cloud environments. Possessing a strong understanding of the Cisco Data Center suite, the individual would be keen to build on that knowledge base to help customers realise their goals of moving towards a Hybrid Cloud environment. As with any Data Center in the modern era, a deep grasp of VMware and other hypervisors is critical to helping customers achieve their goals. The candidate is required to have experience in developing HLD’s and LLD’s for next generation data centers. The role would also extend down to implementation of services. A good understanding of Public Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google is strongly desired. Most of all, an enthusiasm for technology and a strong will to learn something new will make the right candidate blend in seamlessly with the team.

Architect, design and deliver Data Center solutions of varying complexity to end customers in accordance with technology roadmaps, standards and guidelines Directly support sales focused on DC services & delivery including C-level conversations and presentations Write and produce SoW’s (Statement of Work) for projects Lead customer facing events with technical presentations Key point of contact for architectural issues in related projects Create knowledge-base articles and solution guides on a regular basis Work closely with team on solution design and vertical focus Skills & Experience:

Previous consulting and solution delivery experience is absolutely required Excellent communication skills essential, including ability to communicate and translate technical solutions to less technical people Ability to effectively summarise and communicate infrastructure hardware/software solutions and problems Well organised, self-motivated, with the ability to complete projects to a high standard with minimal supervision Effective prioritisation and management of time, including under pressure Initiative in problem solving and understanding Prioritise customer satisfaction throughout any engagement, including timely follow-ups and quick responses to queries Technical Skills & Experience:

CCIE Data Center or CISSP preferable Knowledge of Cisco processes is highly desired (BoM’s, estimates, TAC, SmartNet etc.) 5-7 years experience as a Cisco Data Center expert Strong background in Cisco Security Best Practices Public Cloud Architecture Integration Experience (AWS/Azure/Google) Knowledge of orchestration/virtualisation tools and concepts such as VMware, VCenter, OpenStack etc. IT Infrastructure Integration & Maintenance: Network & Security, Storage & Backup, OS, DB. DC Consolidation & Migration experience Experience of Multi-DC Configurations Knowledge and experience of multiple VPN technologies Cisco Nexus platform expertise Strong understanding and experience with HyperConverged platforms Knowledge of enterprise storage (iSCSI, FCoE, FC) in relation to network connectivity Understanding of application migration to Cloud and back Please note that applicants must possess a Valid UK driver’s licence.
