As a Service Transition Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. To provide oversight and input into the onboarding of all IT projects, ensuring required IA, security, technical and support information is documented and available through the Transition process. Acting as the lead of the team and ensuring risks are escalated and high value projects have close oversight and support. Day-to-day, you’ll oversee the execution of the IS Transition process and policy across the business supporting the transition of new services into the live BIS environment. Ensure appropriate acceptance sign off obtained for all services transitioned into BAU support: Understanding the support model for each service, ensuring the service is in a supportable state technically and ensure the service architecture supports recovery times in line with the criticality of the service. Feed risks and issues into the Technical Board relating to proposals, acting as an approver on the board. Providing escalation to senior management where risks would damage reputation, service or finances. Ensure that all new services are managed through to the live environment with a view to minimising the adverse impact on business-as-usual delivery. Ensure that the transition process captures new services or significant changes to new services that do not follow the standard project or implementation routes. This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with on-call rota cover being required as 1 week in 5. Essential experience of the Service Transition Manager: Experience within a transition management role Experience with Change Management Sound understanding of IT Management processes Qualifications for the Service Transition Manager: Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role and any other security clearances as contracts demand.
