Surrey County Council's Reablement Service plays an important role in achieving this mission. Our Reablement offer is delivered by an in-house team who also collaborate with commissioned providers offering additional capacity. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, who aims for excellence, to lead on therapies input. The Reablement Therapies Manager sits within the Reablement's senior leadership team, reporting into the Head of Service. You will provide professional leadership to a small group of occupational therapists working countywide and work closely with both the Reablement Service managers (CQC registered managers) and the wider department to deliver an outstanding quality service to the residents of Surrey. You will contribute to the overall operational and strategic management of Reablement as well as service-wide innovation and development. As an experienced therapist, you will be able to work autonomously to deliver our therapy-led service. You will be creative and solutions-focused to identify and contribute to both service improvement and transformational changes. You will provide countywide support to the service, so an ability and willingness to work in an agile way and travel across the County will be essential. Shortlisting Criteria To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following: Experience of managing diverse teams Sound professional expertise in Intermediate Care provision Proven track record in Intermediate Care service improvement Commitment to continuous professional development Understanding of relevant legislation, policy and regulation including Care Quality Commission assurance framework.
