Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for a Contract Manager Estimator at Manor Scaffolding Ltd in Buxton. The role involves managing contracts, estimating project costs, coordinating with clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and overseeing project timelines and budgets.
Duties
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and suppliers to achieve favourable outcomes.
Draft, review, and manage contracts ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Collaborate with project teams to align contract deliverables with organisational goals.
Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts and related documentation in an organised manner.
Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that may arise during the contract term.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding contractual obligations and best practices.
Conduct regular reviews of existing contracts to identify opportunities for improvement or renegotiation.
Skills
Project Management, Estimation, and Contract Management skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in the construction or scaffolding industry is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Not essential).
