Qualified Dental Nurse
to join our friendly team due to
expansion of dental services . We are a supportive practice that utilises skill mix and we are happy to support development opportunities. Extended duties welcome and we are also happy to support further training in Radiography, Implants, Oral Health Education, impression taking, etc. The post is
permanent part time .
We are ideally looking for a qualified nurse to support extended opening hours 3 days a week
to provide great access to our services for our patients and to support the work life balance of our clinicians. It will require work on a
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7.45am - 8pm
with unpaid lunch and breaks. Happy to discuss further these hours and requirements. The applicant should be a highly motivated individual who is friendly, well organised and adaptable, to work alongside our dental team to provide an excellent standard of patient care. Salary:
Salary is
dependent on experience
- but we offer
competitive rates of pay , starting from
£13.50/hour for qualified nurse .
More pay for extended duties qualified dental nurse. Main duties: Supporting our clinicians in the provision of a high standard of dental care. Using computerised notes and dental practice management software. Decontamination of dental instruments and equipment. Assist on reception as needed. About us: We are a busy
family run independent dental practice
offering both Private and Denplan care to patients in Chepstow and the surrounding areas. We are located with good travel links from the M48 and there is plenty of onsite/street parking. The practice is a modern spacious facility and has six surgeries and additional treatment rooms. There are 4 dentists, 2 Dental Therapists and a Dental Hygienist, along with our friendly dental nurse and reception team. We also utilise an OHE extended duties Dental Nurse who works as a clinician supporting patient care as part of the varied skill mix used to benefit both the patients and the practice. There are
lots of opportunities for development as a dental nurse
and we will always consider training nurses in extended duties/additional roles such as impression taking, implants, radiography and oral health education. If there is an area you are interested please let us know. We offer a
wide range of treatments including Cosmetic dentistry, Cosmetic Orthodontics - Invisalign, Implants and facial aesthetics . We are developing an
oral surgery referral service
including
Sedation . We also have visiting dentists providing
endodontic
treatment and
oral surgery including sedation
within the practice. We are always looking for ways to improve and modernise. We have 2 itero scanners and a CBCT. Job type:
It is a
permanent part time position. Benefits: Ample onsite/on street parking. Uniform provided. GDC registration paid. Indemnity provided. Support to train in
extended duties. Online
CPD provided
and training contribution to further CPD/course that are beneficial to the practice. Plus regular in practice training. Pension 6 weeks annual leave (including bank/public holidays) from start. Additional annual leave bonus for non-sickness
- potential to earn 4 extra days per year. Length of service annual leave bonus. Schedule: The part time role is
33.75hrs per week full time . Normal extended working hours are:
7.45am - 8pm
Monday to Thursday. Role requires cover of 3 days of extended hours on
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Some adhoc Saturdays may be required to assist in the provision of dental care on a voluntary basis. Paid at time and a half. License/Certification: Current GDC registration. Job Types:
