SEND Case Officer with a strong background of PfA . Within this role, you will be at the heart of our commitment to providing personalised and effective educational plans for children with SEND. Key Responsibilities:
Working with the PfA team Conduct thorough assessments of children and young people to develop and review Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to tailor support that meets each child’s unique needs. Regularly review and update EHCPs in line with statutory guidelines and each child’s developmental progress. Support and guide families through the SEND assessment process, ensuring transparency and clear communication. Stay current with SEND legislation and policies to guarantee that our practices meet legal standards and best practices. Experience:
Experience with managing a PfA Caseload Proven experience in managing SEND processes, including EHCPs. Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory guidance. Extensive experience in quality assurance, auditing, and reporting, preferably in an educational or social care setting. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire colleagues at all levels. Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable insights to improve service delivery.
