Business Development Consultant . This position offers an incredible opportunity for an ambitious and results-driven professional to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic organization at the forefront of preclinical and clinical pharmacology services. As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting the organization’s services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences companies. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, with a focus on preclinical and clinical pharmacology services. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the organization’s client portfolio. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and scientific experts, to ensure the successful delivery of client projects and satisfaction. Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote the organization’s capabilities and build a robust professional network. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids to prospective clients. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform business development strategies. Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline development, and progress toward targets to senior leadership. Candidate Profile: We are seeking a motivated and strategic professional with a proven ability to drive business growth and foster lasting client partnerships. Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA) is a plus. Experience:

6+ years of business development, sales, or client relationship management experience within the CRO, early-phase research industry; proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Skills: Strong understanding of preclinical and clinical pharmacology services and drug development processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop tailored solutions for clients. Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
