Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our family run dynamic NHS dental practice with opportunity to do private work as an extra. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will work collaboratively with our team to ensure patient satisfaction. As an Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and contributing to a positive practice environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments. Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and preventative care. Employ medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with dental nurses and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in professional development opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution or equivalent. Valid GDC registration. Valid performers number. Valid Indemnity. Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry. Experience with Exact software is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry trends.
