Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects Conduct on-site visits and inspections to gather data for quantity takeoffs Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine quantities of materials and labor required Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost forecasting Review and evaluate contractor bids and proposals Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options Prepare and negotiate change orders and variations to contracts Skills:
Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of project management principles Job Type:
