We are looking for two passionate and enthusiastic John Snow College students to be our College Interns. The role will be based in John Snow College and will be paid at a rate of £12.00 including holiday pay per hour. The role will be 7 hours per week until the week of 23rd June 2025, and working patterns will be agreed upon hire. Role Responsibilities
Under instruction of John Snow College and following appropriate training: Proactively seek news stories and engagement opportunities from relevant stakeholders. Creatively communicate College messages and activities to multiple audiences using appropriate channels. Create content for various communication methods, consulting with colleagues before publishing/posting where necessary. Develop and maintain communication tools, which may include the department’s social media accounts and internal and external webpages associated with the department. Answer routine messages and queries from relevant accounts and platforms, flagging any issues with colleagues. Lead on the promotion of the college SCR and close liaison with the JCR to promote opportunities for alumni engagement. Support on college projects, such as working with the college community to gain ideas and insights into college life. Develop communication templates for use within the department, for example, emails, webpages, and social media posts. Support the college team in the office and the management team. Attend college events to support the running and delivery. Regular liaison with the JCR to ensure no overlap or conflict of interest. Application Process
