Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within a dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and maintain a welcoming environment for patients. Strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to patient care are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Ensure that all dental equipment is properly sterilised and maintained according to health and safety protocols. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow within the practice. Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a collaborative work environment. Support administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of dental supplies. Requirements Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma or trainee. Strong IT skills to manage patient records and scheduling software effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for patient care and commitment to providing high-quality service. Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
