We have an exciting opportunity for a
Trainee Dental Nurse
to join our
Shawlands Dental practice , part of the Portman Dentex Group in
Deal . No previous dental experience is needed for this role.

At Portman Dental Care, you will have the resources and support you need to help you succeed in becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse. What’s in it for you? Full-time hours, 40 hours per week:
Monday- Friday between 8.45am - 6pm Training supported by our highly experienced team
- your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded. Permanent placement upon successful completion of course (average course duration is around 18 months) Practice bonus scheme

About you We welcome your application if you have the following: GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or modern equivalent 4 or above) are essential to undertake the course. Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care. Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session. Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures. Drive to undergo training as required to develop your skills and abilities.
