Teaching Assistant - South Brent Primary School (Ventrus Multi Academy Trust)

Multiple Locations Multiple Terms NJC Grade C: £24,790 - £25,584 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked) Our school is a member of Ventrus, a group of Devon schools that actively collaborate to improve children's outcomes. South Brent village is situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and surrounded by farmland. The school benefits from extensive grounds providing a range of outdoor education areas. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and motivated individual to join our school’s Learning Support Team. This is a permanent position working 21.5 hours per week, 39 weeks a year - term time only (Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 8:45am – 1:15pm (4.25 hours). Tuesday & Wednesday: 11am – 3:15pm (4.25 hours). This position will require the successful applicant to work throughout the school to support learning. This will include liaising closely with class teachers to support pupils' development, support learning through a range of individual and group-based interventions, and provide supervision at lunchtime. A knowledge of the maths and English primary curriculum would be a distinct advantage but not essential as training can be given. We can promise you a wonderful, highly supportive staff team.
