JCB Power Products are seeking a Technical Support Operative to become a valued member of the Manufacturing Engineering team. The role includes supporting, developing, improving, and optimising manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves analysing production work flows, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. Your Responsibilities as a Technical Support Operative:

Process Improvement:

Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Contributing to internal cost saving initiatives. Production Support:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues to minimise downtime and ensure product quality. Automation & Technology:

Evaluate and integrate new manufacturing technologies and automation systems. Quality Control:

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain product standards and compliance with industry regulations. Cost Analysis:

Analyse production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. Equipment Management:

Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Key Competencies:

To achieve success in this role, the ideal candidate needs to have the positive drive and commitment to maintain strong employee engagement and teamwork effectiveness. This role requires acute attention to detail to facilitate best practice in a manufacturing environment. To achieve the longer-term departmental goals, this role requires the visionary and influential skills to embed the Manufacturing strategy for the Power Products facility.
