From 4 April 2024, overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc.) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary list, which has lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). Responsibilities:

To act as a first and central point of contact for all enquiries to the site, answering queries and providing accurate information, advice, and signposting to individuals both in person and on the telephone. To use the electronic patient record system for booking appointments, which includes making bookings for clinics at other CDS locations. To deal face-to-face with dental emergencies, patients experiencing dental access difficulties, and patients with special needs. To collect any NHS charges and fees along with banking of money collected and completion of documentation to comply with standing financial instructions. To provide a high-quality reception and administration service appropriate to that expected in a primary dental care practice at Castleforegate Dental and across all Community Dental Service (CDS) sites when requested to do so. To support the Community Dental Service to be the best local provider of innovative, high-quality, and accessible services by providing a high-quality, efficient, and effective reception and administration service, working closely with the rest of the health and care system to improve the health of the local population.
