Role Overview: The Electrical Design Engineer will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, including control panels, diesel engines, PLCs, and rotating machinery. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to discuss technical specifications and provide solutions to complex engineering problems. This position is ideal for someone with a solid engineering background and experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in industrial and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including control panels, PLCs, and rotating machinery. Provide technical support and expertise to customers, including discussing specifications and troubleshooting complex issues. Work with engineering teams to ensure designs meet operational and safety standards. Support the testing and commissioning of equipment, including pumps for oil, gas, and packaging diesel pump sets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure projects are delivered on time. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and enhance engineering processes. Provide mentorship and support to trainee engineers as they develop their skills.

Essential Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering. Strong knowledge of control panels, PLCs, rotating machinery, and pumps for industrial applications (diesel, centrifugal pumps, etc.). Electrical qualification (18th edition, HNC/HND, or degree-level qualification in a relevant field). Experience working with customers to discuss and interpret technical specifications. Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable Skills: Experience with control panels, diesel engines, PLCs, and rotating machinery. Experience in the energy or industrial sector, particularly in the design and maintenance of control systems. Familiarity with testing and commissioning processes for pumps and related equipment.
