Production/Works Manager , you will take the lead in organizing and managing the production process for both manufacturing and assembly workshops. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily and weekly production schedules, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, maintaining strong client and supplier relationships, and ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to. You'll work closely with the

Managing Director

and be an integral part of a well-established team, with minimal travel required (95% of the role will be Norwich-based, with occasional travel to London for meetings). Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update the central production schedule, ensuring all in-house and external work is tracked accurately. Coordinate with Operations/Contracts Manager to update and manage project timelines. Oversee the daily production process in the manufacturing and assembly workshops. Attend handover and design meetings, ensuring all project details are accurately communicated. Monitor and track material purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, and other key stakeholders. Develop and manage detailed production plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Chair production meetings, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, risk assessments, and procedures. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a

Production Manager , preferably within the

Structural and Architectural Metalwork

or construction industry. Strong business and management background, including experience with budgeting and analysis. Excellent internal communication skills, with a high level of written and verbal communication. Solid technical knowledge and comfort working with numbers and technology. Highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and excellent multitasking abilities. Strong working knowledge of

Microsoft Office . Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, while coordinating effectively with the senior management team. A solid understanding of production management systems and risk management. Additional Information: Reporting to:
