Overview: We are partnering with a global leader in engineering and design! You will work with key stakeholders across the North West to deliver innovative, sustainable, and efficient engineering solutions. You will help to reduce spills from Combined Sewer Overflows, create improvements and bring new solutions to support the industry and environment. As they continue to grow and expand their operations, we are looking for skilled and ambitious individuals to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of exciting Water projects.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join the team in Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of projects, ensuring that they meet cost, schedule, and quality expectations in the Water industry. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the technical delivery of civil engineering projects and cutting-edge designs to meet the challenges in the water industry. Mentor and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development. Collaborate with a wider network of technical experts to ensure innovative solutions are incorporated into project delivery. Qualifications & Experience: Significant experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in delivering community-based Water projects. Beneficial to have experience with storm overflows, SUDS, surface water management, or sewage treatment. Degree qualified (or equivalent in Civil Engineering). Ideally hold Chartered status (e.g. ICE, CIWEM). Experience managing and mentoring teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
