JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality fire safety strategies, risk assessments, and system designs to our diverse portfolio of clients in sectors ranging from Nuclear through to construction and everything in between.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop fire engineering strategies and designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct detailed fire risk assessments and audits for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to provide tailored fire safety solutions. Perform risk analysis and cost benefit analysis.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Although you will be based at our new headquarters / training center near Swansea, you will also spend time on client sites so be prepared to travel and therefore, you must hold a full driving license.
The successful applicant will have: Degree in Fire Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in fire safety design, consultancy, or engineering. Experience of implementing the principle of science to real projects. Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations (e.g., Approved Document B, BS 9999, BS 5839, etc.) IT literacy with exposure to packages such as, Blue Beam, Microsoft, CAD, Smoke modeling.
