Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Are you ready to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our equipment? We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional to join our team. You'll be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance, using your expertise to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment. Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain electrical systems in domestic and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with the latest Wiring Regulations. Conduct regular maintenance tasks in line with IET standards. Quickly identify and resolve plant failures, including diagnosing complex faults during incidents. Provide expert advice, mentoring technical trainees as required. Develop and implement activities to extend the lifespan of electrical systems. Maintain accurate records and documentation, including PAT testing. Work with external contractors and insurance inspectors as needed. Design and build processing jigs and fixtures, utilizing your workshop and mechanical expertise. Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary. Person Specification

Level 4 or 5 Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Strong understanding of the current IET Wiring Regulations. Proven background in electrical and mechanical engineering. Excellent verbal and written communication for technical documentation. Proficient in interpreting work instructions, drawings, and schematics, as well as diagnosing and repairing faults using testing equipment. Full, valid UK driving licence. Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions. Willing to provide emergency services outside regular hours. Open to additional training relevant to the role.
