Competitive Hourly Pay + Temp to Perm Opportunities Further Training + Career Progression The Role: Stellar Recruitment has partnered with Taggart Earthmovers to expand their Civil Earthmoving department working across the wider Canterbury region. We're seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to work on a variety of large-scale subdivisions, land development and commercial sites. As Civil Foreman, you'll be responsible for leading, supervising and motivating a team onsite including subcontractors through daily operations. Your tasks will include operating various machinery, earthworks, drainage and construction tasks. What we are looking for: Foreman/ Supervising experience in Civil Construction Experience operating heavy machinery is preferred i.e. Excavators, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks etc. Full Clean Class 1 licence with WTR (Class 2 preferred) Ability to ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols and quality standards. Strong work ethic with good communication skills Competent with Health and Safety procedures About you: Willingness to be on the tools and in the trenches when required Respect the equipment and take pride in preventive maintenance. Have a positive attitude and promote a healthy team environment High personal standards and presentation of work Drug-free (Pre-employment, reasonable cause, post-incident and random drug testing).
