About the practice:
The DAA practice represents a growing capability within Eviden and currently comprises a talented team of analysts, developers, consultants, and architects covering all aspects of the information management lifecycle; from data management through to business intelligence and analytics. The practice is technology agnostic and has capability across a range of technologies, including products from SAP, Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft, as well as more specialist technology providers such as Qliktech, Informatica, Talend, Cloudera, and Infoshare.
Eviden works with a range of large organizations facing an ever-increasing demand to realize greater value from their data and are seeking advice and solutions to meet that need.
We are therefore seeking talented data architects to join our fast-growing team, working with various clients but with the ability to gain clearance to work in the public sector.
The role will be to work in delivery teams, analyzing data and comparing it to requirements.
Responsibilities:
An in-depth understanding of modern data architectures including data lakehouses, data mesh, and different hyperscaler offerings.
Facilitating client workshops/interviews to gather client requirements and turn these into data models.
Definition of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models to support client data initiatives, in Inmon, Kimball, and data lakehouse models.
Definition of Data Flows to support BI, Data Warehouse, and Data Migration application requirements including mapping the data from source to target.
Part of an architecture capability responsible for delivering bid and project solution architecture definitions.
Involvement in pre-sales and bid efforts to define and explain BI and data management solution architectures.
Acting as design authority for small to large BI or Data Management application projects and owning delivery of the data architecture/models that support these projects.
Client-facing role working through requirements and delivering data architectures in required formats and using agreed data design/modelling tools.

Be able to demonstrate a thorough appreciation of the architecture, design, and data-related issues that affect the development of the different types of Data Warehouse and BI applications. Demonstrate experience across a range of relational and database technology, including Oracle and SQL Server. Must be able to demonstrate good analytical skills and a logical approach to problem-solving. Pragmatic and detail-oriented. Excellent organizational and coordination skills. Demonstrable team leadership attributes.
