THIS VACANCY IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT EMPLOYEES OF NHS AYRSHIRE AND ARRAN Position An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Charge Nurse at University Hospital Ayr. What you will do: We are seeking a highly motivated theatre practitioner with extensive knowledge and experience within surgery. You must have the ability to demonstrate proven leadership skills, while ensuring to uphold exceptional standards of patient care and safety. Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively within the multidisciplinary team, whilst having the ability to organise and prioritise service delivery are all essential for this post. You will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team based within a six theatre main theatre department. The orthopaedic service provides the population of Ayrshire and Arran with exceptional standards of elective orthopaedic surgeries. These range from primary arthroplasties, complex soft tissue repairs to complex revision arthroplasties. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: Interpersonal Leadership Management Organisational Shift management Counselling Making a difference Audit and standard setting Recruitment, selection and disciplinary procedures COSHH Hours:
