We are looking for an Engineering Program / Deputy Engineering Manager to join our busy and exciting client in Oxfordshire. This role would suit a Lead/Principal Engineer or even a Project/Program Manager looking to move up with hands-on people management experience.

This is a new position supporting the Engineering Manager with the growth of the business and tasks in the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Engineering Programme Manager / Deputy Engineering Manager will be split between hands-on design, project-based tasks, and dealing with customers while managing the engineering and design team across the business. Undertake 3D designs and create excellent and innovative design drawings working in line with the change management processes. Assist the Engineering Manager and Director with all aspects of leading the team. Deputise for the Engineering Manager when required.

Key Attributes:

3D CAD software experience - Solid Edge, Siemens NX, or Solidworks ideal. At least 10 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering and 1-2 years managing people. Experience managing or leading a team of Engineers.
