Operations – Recent Graduate

We are looking for an incredibly driven and ambitious individual to handle operations for our fast-studying product for university students. We are hiring 1-2 individuals. The interview process will involve technical problem-solving questions suitable for an intelligent and practical graduate of a STEM degree. We are not sponsoring visas for this position. Company Grasp's mission is to increase the rate humans learn by creating personalized online courses, better than the Oxbridge experience, on-demand. We've started with a product for university students that connects them with the best explanations fast, now deployed with our design partners including Imperial College London. We've raised millions of dollars from top-tier investors including Balderton Capital, Mozilla (yes, Firefox), and Point9. Our founder Ed built the Payments and Trading products at Revolut alongside his bachelor's and master's degrees. He was also one of a handful of investors at DST Global. Our team has backgrounds in elite institutions including Revolut, Huawei, Max-Planck Institute, Oxford, and Cambridge. We're building something so hard we cannot afford to work with anyone but the best. Role Build bespoke business analytics dashboards using Python and SQL Directly interact with elite university professors and students, diagnose and solve important pains Increase module penetration of existing university clients Build a system to more granularly attribute machine learning costs to users Design and build tools to increase your efficiency on the job Find other important things that need doing and do them Minimum Requirements BSc (or more) in a hard-science or engineering subject, with a coding element Track record of solving hard deep problems Relentless approach to solving problems Very clear communication Comfortable learning quickly and iterating Ability to work well individually or in a team Track record of exceptional achievement London-based or willing to relocate Benefits Competitive salary Stock grant Fully expensed tech to match your needs Deliveroo allowance for dinner and breakfast
