Swindon Council - SEND Case Officer Lead

The Lead Audit and Review Case Officer Lead must be an experienced SEND Lead with a proven track record. Establish where we are with EHC needs assessments, quality of EHC Plans, and annual reviews within the first month. Identify gaps in practice for individual child/young person and make recommendations for improvement. Report to the SEND Improvement lead weekly. Be prepared to present to panels as required (e.g., High Cost Panel or Preparing for Adulthood Panel). Able to take on complex casework if required to resolve child/young person's plan for going forward. Must be able to use the Synergy system; if not experienced, training will be provided in Swindon.
