Head of Regional Public Sector Sales Job Summary Trustmarque is looking for a Head of Regional Public Sector Sales to lead a team of sales professionals and drive the growth of our services and solutions in the Local Government and regional public sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, meeting revenue and profit targets, and building strong relationships with customers and partners. You will also coach, mentor, and develop your team members and ensure they align with the company's values and vision. What you’ll be doing: Manage and motivate a team of public sector sales specialists and account managers Develop and implement sales plans and forecasts for the local government and associated regional public sector Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand existing accounts Attend customer and partner meetings and present Trustmarque's value proposition and solutions Negotiate contracts and close deals with key decision-makers Monitor and report on sales performance and customer satisfaction Provide feedback and guidance to the team and ensure they meet their KPIs and objectives You'll also: Collaborate with other sales managers, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality service delivery Represent Trustmarque at industry events and conferences Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape Here's what we're looking for: At least 5 years of services sales experience in the local government or public sector, preferably in IT solutions and services At least 3 years of sales management experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams Strong knowledge of the local government and regional services industry, its challenges, and opportunities Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused Willingness to travel within the UK You will live and breathe our values - commitment, collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and inspiration.
