Project Controls Manager Our client, a leading player in the civil engineering industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Controls Manager for a complex, large-scale project. This role requires someone who excels in financial performance reporting, tactical and operational decision-making, and ensuring compliance with the organization's Risk & Internal Control Framework. Key Responsibilities: Financial Insight & Strategy:

Partner with the Project Director, providing financial insight and challenges to drive the project's financial strategy. Collaboration:

Work closely with construction management and commercial/QS teams in cost estimating, programming, risk management, resource forecasting, and change management. Reporting:

Monitor and report on financial forecasts, scenario analysis, and project progress. Prepare and submit periodic financial and budget control reports. Compliance:

Ensure all financial and contractual aspects are implemented and monitored. Validate contracts and agreements from a financial perspective. Integration:

Provide continuity between cost control, planning/scheduling, and estimating functions and deliverables. Financial Management:

Jointly responsible for the project's cash flow and financial position, taking necessary actions in accordance with contractual agreements and variations. Point of Contact:

Serve as a contact for pricing, cost control, planning/scheduling, and risk analysis. Skills & Knowledge: Understanding of scheduling/programming, cost forecasting, dashboards, and senior-level reporting. Practical experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts and change management. Proficiency in BIM and document management. Knowledge of construction techniques, particularly in water projects. Experience with large, complex construction projects. Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Business Collaborator. Experience & Qualifications: Strong understanding of BIM and associated information management systems. Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or a Professional Accounting Qualification.
