Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

to join our team and shape the way data is used to drive retail success.

Role Overview As a

Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst , you will be at the heart of our efforts to deliver data-driven value to clients. Working directly with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and collaborating closely with key partners, you will transform complex data into actionable insights and compelling visualisations.

In this role, you will:

Create Impactful Dashboards:

Develop intuitive and engaging dashboards using tools like Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, and other BI platforms to visualise data in meaningful ways. Generate Insights:

Analyse large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for our retail clients. Convert raw data into insights that clients can act on to improve performance. Maintain Data Quality:

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through rigorous cleansing, validation, and quality control practices. Collaborate with Partners:

Work with our development partners to improve data pipelines, infrastructure, and processes. Share your expertise to help optimise the way data is collected, stored, and analysed. Drive Business Decisions:

Conduct commercial analysis to identify market trends, customer behaviours, and competitor insights. Use data to recommend improvements in pricing, promotions, and product strategy. Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Insight Generation

Analyse complex data sets collected across our core customers/operations to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Create visually compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations to share insights with internal teams and customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and align outputs with customer objectives. 2. Customer-Centric Insights

Work closely with the Customer Success team to deliver insights tailored to individual customers’ goals and challenges. Provide data-driven recommendations that demonstrate ROI and help customers make informed decisions. 3. Data Feed Maintenance & API Management

Manage and maintain API data feeds to ensure seamless integration and accurate data flow across systems. Troubleshoot data feed issues, ensuring continuity and minimal downtime. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise data feed processes and improve efficiency. 4. Data Governance & Quality

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security by following best practices in data governance. Perform regular audits of data pipelines and outputs to maintain high quality. 5. Innovation & Process Improvement

Stay updated on the latest data tools and technologies to continuously improve insights delivery. Identify opportunities to enhance data processes and systems for improved customer outcomes. Qualifications & Skills

Essential

Proven experience in a data analyst, insights analyst, or similar role. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python. Experience with data visualisation platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Familiarity with APIs and data feed management. Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical data in an accessible and engaging way. Highly detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Desirable

Experience in working with data in customer-focused environments. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Understanding of data governance and security principles. Familiarity with our industry and data needs is a plus.
